Default What type motor connector comes on Sidewinder esc?

Installing Castle Sidewinder ESC and don't recognize the type connectors it comes with for the motor. What are these? Is everyone just soldering straight to the motor or using this connector?

Think they're 3-4mm Zero-loss type (female) I use them on my scaler, just solder the male to the mtr. Works great!! Up to you though. I solder direct on comp. rig though. Using Deans to battery. Hope that helps ya.

Any reason I can't use a Deans on this, like with the battery

I run a deans on the connection between the ESC and the motor. just swap them so you don't accidentally plug the battery into where the motor goes.

I do this so I can swap all my electronics between different rigs (i run the same sidewinder in my 2.2, super, 2 scalers and even my slash and 10th buggy)

I put male 4mm plugs on the end of a deans plug, so that I could use my motors with deans on them, but not compromise the 4mm plugs already on the ESC.

In time I switched to all 4mm plugs, because if you have polarity wrong it is very simple to switch the two wires.

"Castle Creations Sidewinder ESC with preinstalled 4mm motor connectors."

I use the 4mm castle bullets on all my motor leads. I don't forsee ever exceeding or even coming close to there 75A rating.

I run 4mm bullets on all of my motor/ESC connections. I can't see cutting perfectly good connectors off of the ESC. I leave the Deans to battery duty

I don't cut the 4mm bullets off the ESC, just make a deans to male 4mm adapter. (cause all my brushed motors have a male deans plug on them.)

This also makes it easy to swap to BL in the slash.
