servo savers

Hey all

I finally picked out and installed my steering servo. I went with a Futaba S9156.

SPECS:
Torque: 272 oz/in (19.6 kg/cm) @ 4.8V
340 oz/in (24.5 kg/cm) @ 6V
Speed
.21 sec/60° @ 4.8V
.17 sec/60° @6.0V

I figured this would work just fine for me.

Question is, are people running servo savers? I am going to asume I should invest in a metal servo horn so I dont bend the plastic ones and make sure to setup my EPA's correctly. I was just unsure if anyone was still running them, or best to stay away because of the heavy turning loads that you incounter

No servo saver. You've got it right....a nice aluminum servo horn and set your EPA's...
