Hey Guys i need some help figuring out a problem. I have a hitech HS-7955TG servo, and i have noticed it is starting to get pretty weak, it is no where near as strong as it was when i bought it. I can no longer turn my wheels without driving like i used too. anyways Here are a couple possible options i can come up with I am using a CCBEC set at 6v, that took a pretty good hit a while back, has any one ever seen these go bad? is there any way to test it other than buying another new one? I figured this was a piece that either work or it didnt. Next is the servo itself. I had some binding issues with my axial cvd's and im wondering if it had some negative effects on my servo. do these servos ever go bad? Can they get weak if the motor inside is overtorqued or overworked? is there any way to test the torque output to make sure it is putting out what it is supposed to be? The servo is less that a year old so i think it is still under warranty. and last but not least. If it turns out that i ruined this servo any ideas on a replacement. I will obviously be looking for something with better specs than the current HS-7955TG that i am running. Is the new hitech servo that just came out any good? any gear stripping issues yet? Thanks Steven |

| ![]() Not 100% sure about your bec, Here are a few questions your you; 1.How old is your bec? It may be covered under a warrauty. 2. How bad of a hit did it take? You could have damaged it. 3. How old is your servo? YES servos can and WILL go bad, Most have a 1 year warranty. Talk to your lhs, they should be able to guide you in right direction. Good luck |

take a volt meter to the servo or receiver side of your bec and see what the output is. if it's set at 6v it should read 6v or close to it

Once you overheat them, they lose power- send it back to Hitec. Do you have your receipt?
