Could be radio programming (don't know what you have), could be motor timing (one is set different than the other), or it could be your speed controls are set up differently (don't know what you are using or how programmable they are).

Are you running both ESCs from the same channel (using a Y lead) or are you using 2 separate channels?

A Y harness is OK, but you obviously can't control the ESC independently. Using 2 different models of ESC makes things complicated, as the throttle response will be different. You could try re-calibrating both ESCs. If it still doesn't work properly, disconnect the ESC that comes on first. Power up again, and squeeze the throttle until the ESC that's still connected starts to drive the motor. Back off again until it stops, and hold the throttle at EXACTLY that point. Re-calibrate the ESC. Hopefully, it'll pick up the new neutral point. If it still doesn't work (maybe the lag got worse), try doing it the other way around. What you are trying to do is synchronise the ESCs by fiddling where each ESC thinks the neutral point is. |

Then the only choice you have is to try what clockworks is saying. Both speed controls are going to have a different neutral settings. Maybe try swapping the speed controls around to where the front pulls a little more......... |

If you are running off one channel then I would just run 1 ESC.

No point in using 2 ESCs unless neither one can handle running both motors on its own. If you are powering the front steering servo off one ESC and the rear steering servo off the other, then when you go to one ESC you will need a BEC. It would be better to get 2 BECs and use them to run the steering servos. | |
