| bad charger, bad cells?
hyperion0606i( not exact on number?) got dropped and i have been using it to charge my 9.4 v 8 cell nimd packs with no problem for almost a year now, but now i have 2x 8 packs that wont take a charge for more than a few minutes, both batteries are only like 2 years old charged at 2.0a or less most times( stored fully charged most times), any ideas on what might be happening?, are these cells just dead? i have 1x8pack thats still going strong from the same batch, could a really low amp charge possibly bring them back? or is it time for some new cells? not sure on the life span of these packs

sounds like a dead cell to me. take a voltmeter and go thru each cell 1 at a time. It will tell on itself.

batteries don't last forever. The chemical reaction eventually stops working correctly. some cells last longer than others.

Turn up the Delta Peak on your charger, if it's adjustable. Try 12mv.
