| "chip" to DX3r
i have a friend who has lost the "chip" u use to syncronize the radio and the reciever. if he want to buy a second reciver for and other crawler, and use the same radio.. is he lost without the chip? or could just borrow mine to set up the new reciever? did this make sence? |

you mean the bind plug, he can use anyones bind plug to bind it back with reciever |

yes all the "chips" . . or bind plugs are the same . . you can also make one . .there is a thread that shows you how to do so if you search. .

You usually get a bind plug when you buy a receiver. It's only a shorting plug that joins the signal pin to ground. You can make one from an old servo lead or servo extension. Cut the plug off, leaving an inch or two of cable connected. Remove the middle red wire for safety, then join the 2 outside wires together. Job done. |
