| Is this wiring diagram right? dual esc/bec
Is this how I would wire my dual sidewinders and CC BEC? Or is there a better way to get full potential? Took pic from Xirtic and modified to my liking Also, what kind of output should I run? Dual 1/18 sidewinders, one 6 cell NiMH to each, and a 208oz blue bird servo. Thanks, Talon |

I'd use the external BEC just for the servo, and run the Rx from one of the ESC BECs. Connect one ESC to the Rx as normal. Pull the red wire from the Rx plug on the other ESC, then connect the plug to the Rx. Pull the red and black wires from the Servo plug, and connect these directly to the BEC output. Connect the signal wire (orange or white) from the servo to the Rx. This way, whatever happens to the steering servo, the Rx will get the correct voltage from the ESC BEC. If you run the Rx and the servo from the external BEC, you'll have to limit the BEC voltage or you'll blow the Rx. Also if the steering gets bound up, it can pull the Rx voltage too low, so you lose contact with the Tx. |
