Modding the Hitec Laser 6's throttle

This is such a simple mod to do, that I almost didn't bother writing it.
Out of the box, the Laser 6's throttle is ratcheted, and not spring centered. This mod changes it to a non ratcheted, center sprung throttle. This should take all of about 10 minutes to do. No parts or fab are needed, all you're doing is removing 3 parts.
First, remove the battery cover and the battery pack.
Lay the radio on its face, so its *** is sticking up at you.

Remove the 4 big screws from each corner of the radio, and the two little screws at either end of the handle. Lift straight up and place the back over to the right. Careful, the wires aren't that long.

Look at the gimbal that is now on your right. Remove the screws circled in red. The one on the left is also holding a wire holder, so it goes back in after you remove the ratchet. The one on the right comes out, along with the little plastic piece. Best thing to do is lift up a bit on the end of the arm (circled in blue) so it's easier to get the plastic piece out of the hole in it.

Replace the back cover and the six screws, and you're all set. Easy. If you're afraid you're gonna lose the parts, put them on backwards so they're still in the radio, but not touching anything.
