| Hitech 645MG servo upgrade??
I currently have the Hitech 645mg servo and looking to upgrade to something better, without breaking the bank. I was wondering what would your recommendations be... I'm running a Novak Rooster Crawler & 55T and Hitech readio system. Chris |

X2... I just upgraded from the 645mg to the Hitech 7955TG. I have only ran one battery pack through my AX10 since the upgrade but the difference was obvious as soon as you turn it on and steer it for the first time. Even in the house on the floor you could tell. It is hard to explain but it really makes you feel like you have alot more control over the steering. And, out o the rocks......awesome. | |

Sure will, Do you have endpoint adjustments? If not you will have to make sure that your steering linkage allows for full servo throw without being mechanically limited. A bec would be nice too. |

The hobbico CS-170 is essentially the same servo as the 5955, the 7955 is an updated version of the 5955. The CS-170 has a few less features, but it's usually 20-30 bucks cheaper and has the same torque. Either is a good choice and I end up buying the Hitecs for their top notch service and warranty even though I almost never need it. I believe hobbico covers their servos for a shorter period of time than hitec. Don't be too worried though, the 5955/CS-170 are incredibly durable servos. |

I know this is an old thread but I'd rather bring it back than make another. I've got a Hitec 7995 in my XJ scaler which I like a lot because of it's 180* of throw, speed & obvious torque. I'm looking for something similar since they don't make it anymore. I don't see degrees of throw in the specs of servo's any help would be appreciated.
