| Night gates!
So I was at a comp yesterday and was watching a scale truck with lights go through a gate, and this idea hit me so hard it darn near knocked me on my arse! I thought to myself what about gates that light up for night courses. Wether it be a tennis ball with an led stickin through the top with somthin like a camera or a flat cell battery. Or a semi transperant plastic dome with an internal l.e.d., you can even do different colors. I will be building a set sometime soon. Let me know what you guys think. If anybody has built or seen this post up some pictures or links. |

We did it with tennis ball halves, a led and a 9 volt. We had green in the start 2, red in the finish gates, and blue or orange all the course gates. They worked great and lasted a long time with the setup we used.

You can get teh LED "tealight" candles. Like used in pumpkins or foo-foo house stuff. You can get flamed or flameless ones, averaging $20 a dozen. http://www.ledtealights.net/White-Un...cker_p_14.html |

Parker came up with a great idea for one of the first Reno night comps, which was break glow stick and poor all the glowing stuff on the tennis balls, lasted a few hours - Done

| what about indoor
take it a step further, go to your indoor course, paint the tennis balls white or neon colors. Turn all of the lights off, and break out the black lights man...peace and love brothas |

| As strange as it seems, I actually like that idea. It would be kind of trippy.

| Or you could use wiffle ball halfs, add white/neon on the bodies and that would make for a fun ass crawl. You could even splatter some white paint here and there on the rocks to really add the the blacklight effects!!
