Default Help with a TQ3

Do i need 2k pots or can i use the 1k pots from Radio Shack? I am not sure of the difference. I found a thread here where i guy used the 1k pots but others say you need 2k pots.

Also, i there a way that i can run the stock red switch for front dig(That is the common one used where the back tires are locked and the front truns.....right?) and then have a 3 position switch for everything?

People use 2K pots because they are easy to find. 1K pots will work for most mods.

You could wire the red switch in parallel with the 3-position - just make sure you don't turn both switches on together. Not a problem if they are both set the same way, but could be a problem if they are set opposite ways with the pots turned down to zero.
