Default Receiver Question Battery power

I just got a new radio and receiver a spektrum brand to put in my mrc. I wanted to use the old losi spektrum receiver in a old t-maxx to take advantage of the 3rd channel and to use the new remote, but I dont see a battery jack. My new spektrum receiver came with a battery pack and remote switch so I was going to get it all figured out outside of the t-maxx to make sure it would work, but where does the battery pack plug into. I believe on the old t-maxx receiver it has a seperate battery jack but its sealed up right now and I dont want to tear into it to look.

Sorry think I got it working, I tried the bind plug but no light came on until the remote was turned on, now it seems to work. I was expecting the receiver to light up with just the battery plugged in. Not sure if its going to work but one servo is now alive.

Yes got it working on the 3rd channel.
