| low voltage cutoff and bec
i searched for an hour and wasted time so dont bash me for bringing up and long gone over subject. I am using a traxxas xl5 esc out of my slash in an scx10. I ran lipos in the slash no problem raced then charged battery. In the crawler i am worried i wont notice the voltage drop due to low speeds. I go out crawling for hours and multiple packs. Is there some sort of inline cutoff. I will be using 2c and 3c packs and nimh packs. How can i use all packs without killing anything. thanks -ben

That might work, but it's just a "buzzer" and, in case you didn't notice, that eBay lot is for 6 of them ("6 PCS"). If you're looking for a real cutoff that will warn you and do the work for you, just in case, check out something like this (notice this particular cutoff is for 2s packs). |

you only need the 2c because the xl5 isnt rated for 3c and you shouldnt use a cutoff with nimh

Ive learned the hard way some lipos use different jacks, wide ones and those plug in type buzzers or readers wont work without an adapter. I just rewire my jacks to work with my charger so its no big deal. I would at least get a type that has wires and a jack coming off of the device incase your balancer plug doesnt match up you can modify the device to work easier. Seems most hobby stores have the buzzers in stock for under $10
