Default ***Novak Rooster Help Please!!!***

I have been using a Novak Rooster in my crawler for a while now and like it. I just recently installed a CC BEC so I can run 3s lipo and for some reason it wont go in reverse. I have reprogrammed it switched the connectors pulled the red wire you name it I have probably tried it. I need as much help as I can get and please no smart ass comments about shoulda gone Tekin cause I know I should have. Any and all help welcome and Thanks in advance.

Problem: Wont go in reverse.

did this hppen before or after u used a 3s lipo if after u likely fried it

Sorry guys I forgot to mention but I haven't actually ran a 3s lipo in it yet I have only ran 2s lipo

I was thinking the same...rooster wasn't made for 3s..but since you havn't yet...is there a way to unhook the leads going to your motor and put it on a volt/ohm reader and see if your getting any volts in reverse???

and no...nothing wrong with a Novak...I have two of them and LOVE them....

Unplug/replug the little connector at the ESC. Is your BEC powered straight from the battery to the servo or is it powering through the receiver? What is your receiver? Sometimes if you send BEC power through the receiver you can wack it out. Especially Spektrums.

Take off the BEC and see if it still has the problem. This will tell you if you did somthing wrong on the install of the BEC.You didn't mention what transmitter you are running,you may need to reset some options on your radio.

Thanks for all the help guys I will try them as for the TX Im not sure I got it with an RTR nitro a few years ago. I have tried resetting some settings. Keep the help coming and Thanks to everyone that has helped out so far.
