| Another resistor ???
You guys were awsome with info I needed for my LEDs but here is another one . I have a 12v battery but I need to kick it down to 9v. Dont want to burn out all my electronic goodies . Is there some other resistor calculator out there that can help me ?

What are you going to connect to the 9v supply? Resistors are OK for LEDs, but most other things need a voltage regulator.

| like clockworks says youll need a constant regulation of power a voltage regulator,,and it should be isolated so if something goes wrong it doesnt short across the outputs and surge the system,,and it will need a hardcore heatsink too

Castle BEC. I had one hooked up to my 3 cell lipo that was set at 9 volts to power my 3racing winch.
