Question Problem with my wife's ax10...help!!

well i think i have a bad esc. im still using the factory axial esc left over from my bug ax10 build. anyway, the steering servo is brand new axial as2 and a brand new traxxas receiver...my problem is she wont move and turn at the same time????? if i just sit still and steer left or right, no problem. or if i just go forward or reverse, no problem. if i try and move and turn at the same time it just jumps a little and basically doesnt move and the led on the esc is flashing....ive already double checked battery connections (their good i have them sodered) i even swapped the receiver thinking may have a glitch there, still same problem.. im guessing its in the esc but dont have another one to try yet.....any suggestions???

It could be. I have had a bad cell in a battery and it did weird things. Its worth a try. We can all use another battery.

My vote is the batt as well. nominal voltage enough to turn, or drive... not both :P
