Default No Tekin Team Driver Setup Sheets for Crawling?

Now I know there is at least one Tekin driver out there with a rock crawler. So how come when I go to the Hotwire page http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire.html and click on the Team Setup Sheet link http://www.teamtekin.com/hotwire/ESCsetups/index.html there are no Crawler sheets listed?

Talk about being a second class citizen and all! (Kidding! Kidding!)

Actually there are only sheets for the "R5" ESC... why no FX and FXR?

Because setup varies wildly depending on the parts being used. There is no one "hot" setup.

These are the setups I start off with.

SCX-10 FXR/35T

Berg Dual FXR/55T
Front:

Rear: Only differance is more Drag Brake on the rear.

Losi CC Dual FXR/45T MOA. Used same setup on both F and R

Losi CC RS/21.5 14T Pinion

SCX-10 RS/21.5 15T pinion. Keep a close watch on motor temps when using the timing Boost. For a heavier rig its better to use a bigger pinion and 0 Timing Boost

FYI I run a small Neutral Width on all of my rigs. A higher Neutral Width may be needed to program the ESC with some radios.

It determines the amount of Brake effect applied to the motor. It effects both the Drag Brake and TX Brake.

I have mine set up with brake strength off and drag brake on 30 for the berg. Strong enough to lock it up with an original punk dig switch.

Figured brake strength would only help when using forward/brake or forward/brake/revers...

Yep... I get that. But if you follow the link, it lists multiple different setups for multiple drivers with different motors and vehicles and classes but only for the RS. There is even a little place holder icon for RX8. The point is not to create some new concept... the point is to continue a great concept to the FX/FXR

This is great! Now we just need to convince Tekin to post them on the website!

Oh, and just to clarify, this is a LiPO 3S setup yah? Basing that on your voltage cutoff setting of "3".

I'll get one of our "guys" to make a FXR crawler setup sheet. I think that's a good idea and apparently so do you guys! LOL

Both? I only run one ESC. I am guessing that your running 2.....

Might be your neutral width setting......I have never had that problem personally though.

One thing to look at is make sure you set your ESC's to the radio at the same time not one then the other .
On my dual ESC setup I also run alot more brake on my rear ESC.
