Default Airtronics MX Sport 3 position switch modification help question

Well, it's time to add a winch to my scaler and I have an Airtronics MX Sport 3 Channel radio so I need to modify the radio for either a 3 position switch or a couple of push button switches. Has anyone attempted to install a 3 position switch in a MX Sport yet? If no one has modified one yet, I am willing to try with a little help from some of the Elecrtronics Gurus. I have added photos of the main board. I have multiple photos at 3008x2000 if that will help (those photos are about 5meg each). Thanks.

I have the same radio and was wondering about this too. I want to get one of the escs with the dig feature for my clod. This requires a 3 position switch.

Did this on the FM system. Found out its similar if not exactly the same for the 2.4. Should give you some ideas.

The MX-3 is a completely different board. Switch is in the middle of that board and on the end of this one. Not sure the circuits are electricly the same or even close. Since this is just for a winch, I need to know if this is an on-off 2 position siwtch or an on-on two position switch. What was the switch on the MX-3? If it is the same as the MX-3, I am not sure where to tie in the 10K Ω resistor

Hang in there , just got mine couple of days ago and the plan is to mod it this weekend.
I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

From what I saw - already open it - should be quite easy to do the mod, the only problem is that the radio doesn't have EPA on 3rd channel so I will attempt to do a combo mod: 3rd channel 3pos sw + EPA

Bad luck ... it doesn't work.

Unfortunately, the input to the chip is digital not analog, so it will take either 0 or 1.

I knew it looked to good to be true!

I can't find any info on the Internet except this thread so I'm bringing it back from the dead. Has anyone done this yet?
