| Help, Panic attack in progress. Whats Wrong??
Ok, have just installed a Sidewinder Micro ESC into my MRC, after a few problems setting up initialling like having to switch the stock TX throttle channels direction it all calibrated smoothly and went through its programming options easily. ESC is set in Brushed Mode as im using a stock motor and in NO CUT OFF detection mode as im using the stock 6cell NIMH battery pack. Steering works fine, but it wont go back or forwards properly. Video of problem - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmIuaZmfOz4 Please take a look and explain to a simple fool like me whats wrong? Tried with the stock esc and works fine again but the Sidewinder Micro just aint having it. |

Maybe try to rebind the TX/RX with the sidewinder installed?

looks like it's still in brushless mode. Try re-selecting brushed mode, make sure you hit the update button if you're using the castle link.

Castle link ordered and on speedy delivery. Thanks guys, I was really worried I had a duffer then and its a long way to post it back to the US from the UK. Will try redoing the programming a few times to see if i can get it out of brushless mode manualy but if I cant at least I have the link on order now. Will update as soon as it arrives or gets fixed. |

Pretty sure you need the link to switch to brushed, dont believe you can manually do it.

God Bless Castle Creations and the Castle Link. Sorted now, running like a dream, still using the stock motor but responds so much better and actually appears more powerful Thank you all for you help. |
