Default Nihm batt Question

Do nihm batteries hold more volts there there labled to like lipos?
EX: My venom 7 cell nihm is showing around 9.25V right now and im a little worried about it. My Charger is a Venom Pro Charger.

thats totally normal. a 6 cell should be around 8.5v charged and 7 cell i have up at almost 10v

Oh Ok thanks. So then what is the voltage on the label represent?

because each cell is a 1.2v cell but when charged are around 1.5v

the voltage on a pack is the nominal voltage.

Yup, all is good Tortuga. I checked a couple Trinity/IB 7 cell packs yesterday that I was suspicious of and they all came up 1.5v per cell while fully charged!

I thought the voltage on the label was the max, thank you guys for set me straight.
