Default HobbyKing Turnigy 7.4v Lipo Dead

I just got my Order from HobbyKing and one of my batteries wont take a charge, It says "Battery Disconnect" and I assume either one of the cells is bad or there is a connection problem inside the battery. The other two charged just fine.

Turnigy 7.4v 2s 1800 mAh

Returning to Honk Kong would cost more than the battery so I was wondering whats the best way to dispose of a LiPo?

User Error!

I added my own plugs (deans) and figured I would try a different one and re-soldered a new plug on and BAM! it worked

Strange thing is a deans plug is a just two pieces of metal encased in hard plastic. I have no idea how it was a bad connector but it does not matter since it is fixed.

Yep, the same thing has happened to me as well. It has to do with the connection ever so slightly not being sufficient.

Ahh! I didn't know that. I was trying to figure out what the deal was. The funny thing is that the bad connector was a different color metal than the other 2 I had. I bet it was either dirty inside or had inferior metal.

Not a bad battery for $7.95

That's the only problem I've ever had with cheap lipos. I have bought a few Zippy lipos that needed new connectors before I ever used them.
