I've heard of ppl using a slider in place of the rocker or a toggle. like on a stereo for your balance control.. Center lock and left-right "pan"... Locks in center and give pro-po steering to the rear for dirt cheap...

Hey

I know this is a old thread... but i need help

I have this style of TQ3

and I cant figure out how to make it work

Do i need to just buy a on/off/on style switch and solder it in?

check this out everything is in the thread My Modded TQ3 Update - Added EPA pots work great for me maybe it will help you .

Yea just get a 3-way toggle switch, or if you can find one a self centering switch that is momentary 2 ways. It will be easier to get a switch than trying to take appart that style switch. My way only works on the older style radios.

I figured it out, I went and bought a on/off/on and wired it in... works great, now if only I had my build done

I am going to pick up my axles, tires and another chassis tomorrow
