Arrow ** sidewinder question **

OK i got my sidewinder and put it in and it works ok forward but reverse is really glitchy and it wont stay at a steady speed (any suggesion)?

and in forward it has like 2 stages of throtle and i hate it, Smooth as an unpaved country road

do you have it programmed for brushed???

get a castle link and fine tune everything.

Is it set for high powered brushed or brushed reversing. You want it on brushed reversing. i had the same issue and that solved my problems.

what servo, radio and esc are you running? could be a glitchy am radio, could be to much power drainage from servo.

What condition is the motor in? New? Used? It could be a brush/commutator issue. The brushes might not be making good contact in reverse. I'd check and clean the motor, brushes, comm and try it again. Hope that helps.

im running a hitec 645MG with traxxas 3 channel reciever (cheap) with a slightly used integy 65t

have you looked at the brake/reverse curve. If you have a link go into the brake curve setting and make sure it looks more like a straight line from one corner to the other.
