| Is 3Racing winch's waterproof
I ordered a 3Racing winch for my scale project and was wondering if it was waterproof or not. I want to be able to run in deep water but don't know if it will ruin the winch? Any help would be great. Thanks.

All electric motors will work after being submerged. The only important thing is to keep the control board dry. I have had my 3 Racing winch submerged in mud an water many, many times and it still works fine. |

| Are 3Racing winch's waterproof?
I know it's a stupid question and answer is probably no, but are the 3Racing winchs waterproof. I ordered on for my scale build which I plan on running in deep water. Will this be a problem or ruin the winch? Thanks.

| Where is the control board? On the wire that plugs into the receiver?

| Making sure the circuit board is protected would be your first goal. The winch itself SHOULD be alright since it's just the motor. All in all though, water is just going to be bad/hard on it and I wouldn't really suggest it. Make yourself a servo winch and waterproof that. Then just run it through the 3R winch for looks.
