hobby wing are their brushless kits any good or no cause im kinda strapped for cash and i want a brushless kit |
I like mine just fine. Not sure how thier warranty is though...if you spend a few more $'s you can get a Castle or Novak or Tekin which all come with great support should something go wrong. |
I agree with Duuuuuuuude here; buy quality once, not sub-par twice. In my humble opinion this is truly a "you get what you pay for" hobby. Save a few more clams and then get yourself a nice, proven system. |
I had one of their 80a esc's and it lasted about 6 packs before it died. They don't respond to emails and ignore you unless you call them. I ended up sending it in and paid $12 to ship fro Korea to china 3 day express. They took almost 2 weeks to fix it and charged me $33 to ship it back. Total cost of warranty repair: $55, and I would assume it would cost more from the US. |
ok thanks guys |
hobbywing esc and novak 18t hey man i like my brushless setup i have the 32t motor and the 35a esc the motor is pretty slow but could be geared up pinion etc im running to gearboxs in my rig so its pretty slow, ive just been playing around with my esc and a novak 18t brushless sensored motor and the esc kan run it sensorless. im going to hook it up and try it soon kan let u know how it goes if anyones interested |
Got my 80a ezrun back yesterday from warranty Repair. $55 of shipping and... It's still broke. Buy from a dependable manufactrurer. I've spent more on this esc now than on my mmpro and it's still broke. |
