You should add the KO PROPO EX-5UR to your list, same price as the 3PM-X and as a bonus it comes with a second rx (the rx's are tiny also). I've used the KO since they came out last fall and love it, used a 3PM-X for about 15 minutes last weekend and liked it also. Not sure which of the other radio's you listed have three pos. third channels, which you'll need for the winch and dig. There's also the DX3E for $99, but only works for one model.

Interested to see peoples opinion as well. I am in the same position. I am leaning towards the 3pmx for the 4ws mixes as I have a super as well.

I had the dx3e and loved it. I now have the dx3r. I see alot have the 3pmx and it looks like a really good radio. If $200 was my max budget i'd go with the 3pmx for sure. The dx3e was great and I liked it except that it only has 1 model memory. If you get access to the for sale section I also see good radios come up for sale quite often. |

| It's only a 4 channel....and it's not $75: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWET6&P=7 Lately, I've been using the Nomadio React and am fairly impressed. They can be found for under $200: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=248297 or https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...c=ns&pn=NOM111 But, that is without the Transceiver. These radios will bind with older Spektrum Rxs, but for use of the 4th channel, you'll need the Nomadio Transceiver. Last edited by JeremyH; 05-07-2010 at 08:45 AM. |

The 4 channel traxxas has a 5 channel receiver and I believe I read a post where someone on here is going to make the 5th channel usable. I don't have one, but I am leaning towards this so I can run dig, winch and lights remotely.

| I dont use them all for most of my RC's...but I do use the 4th channel on my Super. IMO, the best thing about the Nomadio React is that it is completely programmable....from your computer! |

imho the 3pm x is the best bang for the buck crawler radio out there right now! The KO is a close second more for dealer support than anything. If ya need more the dx6i or 6ex will do about anything or if ya are cheap the dx6 park flyer.

cant go wrong with the 3pmx. i am running it for my bully comp rig and my honcho scaler. the only downfall to it is that recievers cost 80-90 bucks and are not as small as the spectrum ones
