Default mamba max pro ?

Has anyone tried any of the Mamba Monster 1/8 motors on a Mamba Max Pro ? I would like to try this because my truck is heavy . So far Ive been running brushed motors but why have a Mamba and not atleast try a BL motor ? Im not sure a 1/10 scale BL will pull my rig .

How heavy is your truck? You'd be amazed what some of these motors can pull.

I've seen a 1/10 brushless motor pull an almost 12 pound truck very well. Unless your truck is an absolute pig a 1/10 motor should be fine.

My truck is about 11 lbs with both batteries . Should I go with the Mamba 1/10 4600 kv or maybe a different Manufacturers motor ? I should add that Im using the HPI 8 to 1 turndown and 2 7.2v nimh .
