Default battery upgrade

so i have a rooster crawler with a 45t motor . i want to get a small but durable lipo. about 2000mah to 2800mah but i want to mount it up front . what would you recommend? it can sit beside my servo. and with that speed control, what is the maximum volts i can run with? 7.4 or 11.8 and it has to be two cell. thanks in advance. when i say small i mean size not just power

If the maximum that you can run is 2 cell (and, IIRC, that is all the Rooster can handle), then you're looking for a 7.4V pack.

Personally, I like the Thunder Power packs, but your best bet is to determine the necessary dimensions of the pack (measure the space in which you plan to place the battery), then find one that fits.

I run a 2150mAH LiPo and it is much too big to go beside the servo on the front axle. You may need to rethink either the size or the location for your new battery.

Cheers.
