Both those antennas will work with the DX3R but the BCX antenna needs a slight modification, basically it needs the base pulled apart. It just unclips from the inside. I dont remember which specktrum air antenna doesnt work with the older DX3 radios (I think its the DX5e) but the reason is because the cable is to short to reach on the inside of the radio. |
