Default burnt up esc/ what to get to replace novak goat 2s

i have been running a novak goat esc and i was just cheacking my throtle steting on my crawler. the next thing i know it was showering me with sparks. not sure what happend or why but now i have a (cc mm pro) a losi esc and two burnt up esc's. one from a car the other the novak. just trying to figure out what i should put in my ax10 now. i just finnished up the ckrc stage 2 sus setup. any help as long as it is not to expensive will be great. i am planing on keeping the cc mm pro in my car so i have the losi sensorless esc and the lowest kv that i have that it will run is the 540 3750 short course truck motor. it has an insane amount of umph to it. dose any one think that the losi with the 3750 will be fine? thanks in advance for any help.

Honestly I think you'll be fine.
In my ax10 I run sidewinder/vxl combo. On 2s and 3s
My only gripe is plastic half shafts will pop if a tire is jammed up.
Oh, and it has loads of wheelspin

But your ratio is alot lower then mine with wormgears (if I'm not mistaken) so have fun with a little zip.
