I would put a 35-45 T brushed motor turn in a timberwolf if i was to get one. What transmitters are allowed up in norway ? ( i have been dreaming about FPV too ) EDIT. i asume you have been watching wobby01`s stuff too :-) http://www.youtube.com/user/wobby01#p/u Last edited by Peaker; 07-05-2010 at 10:57 AM. |

OK, is brushed "better" for crawling? Easier to control? I see the most RTR-crawlers has brushed systems. How long do a brushed motor last? Is this a good setup then? http://rc4wdstore.com/2/product_info...e6044d2fa6528a http://rc4wdstore.com/2/product_info...e6044d2fa6528a 900Mhz is not allowed to use in Norway because it's used for mobile GSM network. I think i go for 1.2Ghz Great video BTW ;) |

I would go 45t, it seems to be a good mix of wheel speed and torque, but depending on your terrain, you may want more/less wheelspeed/torque For a cheap ESC, I'd recommend the XL-5 from Traxxas. The only thing it "lacks" would be a drag brake, though it is less programmable than some. I like it because it's waterproof, cheap, reasonably reliable, and reasonably reliable with brushed motors. I run em in my scalers! Though, I have ran an ESC generally used for buggy racing. It was cheap as well (like 30.00 new). I just made sure it had reverse, and met my battery specs... got me goin on the cheap It's a bit expensive, but I would check out TCS for the Tekin Motor/ESC combo. The included FXR is pretty well top notch for brushed motors, and the programming is perfect for anything from a scaler, to a full blown comp rig |

I think i order the "RC4WD Outcry ESC" $49.99 and a motor with the kit. But is a pinion included in the kit? Do i need to buy a pinion? If so which should i go for (540 Crawler Brushed Motor)? http://rc4wdstore.com/2/index.php?cP...e6044d2fa6528a |
