How exactly is it stalling?? Stall is not a bad thing, it mostly works in your favor.

If its not the gear mesh it could be the motors. What motors are you running? How is the stall on level ground? How much throttle do you need to give it on a climb to get the rear to turn? | |

Make sure ya calibrate the escs at the same time and they have the same settings. Play with gear mesh and ya can try moving the motors front to rear? Stall will always be there but ya should be able to get it controlled with some tuning. Of course going to sticks/4pk will solve your problems too.

I'm here in sacramento thanks barry for the advice. I know but that's the controler I had. I started with a 14 tooth front and rear. Now I have 14 front 13 rear. It stalls bad enough were on a climb I realy have to give it some juice to get it going. Gonna take the speed controllers out and re program. It sucks cuz the car works awsome but slow speed climbs no good. Thanks for all the help. DRAGBOATS.com

go with a 12/11t combo, with a 3cell lipo. Holmes famous words, gear down and volt up. This keeps wheelspeed, and uses less energy to turn the motors, helping with the stall I ran my bully this way for a while with 35t HH tm motors. Learn to drive it with stall and you'll figure out how to climb without digging. Stall can be your best friend. I learned to love it. when your slow crawling up a hill, just give it slightly more throttle and the rear will start to move, you shouldn't need to juice it. Learn where that fine point is on the trigger and work it to your advantage. BTW from my experience running both the fxr and the Mamba max, the MM gives a lot better throttle control. Put the 13 up front and a 12 in the rear. Which moa and how many cells are you running? |
