If you want to run dual motors, I would find an ESC specifically made to run dual motors. If not, you may end up frying your ESC.

Alright thanks. I found the rc4wd esc that supports dual. Do you think it's good?

Novak M2 Dig ESC for dual motors .......$159.00 with motors

To answer your question..probably not, but there is a buyer for every product just remember you get what you pay for

The same goes for the Novak...A really good ESC,dig and motor combo is well over $300.00 But at least Novak is a household name...

An ESC doesn't necessarily have to be listed is a "dual motor" ESC for it to actually run two motors safely. Two 55T motors will draw the same current as a single 27T motor (two 45's, the same as a 22T and two 35's, the same as a 17T). Just make sure your ESC is rated to it's single turn counterpart and you should be good to go.

I'm not gonna say any esc can run dual brushed motors but any of the popular crawler escs (sidewinder, fxr, HH, mamba, ...) can run run duals just fine. Just divide the motor turns by 2 for the number the esc will see (two 45t motors = one 22.5t). An fxr is rated down to a 13t motor so ya could run two 26t motors in theory. The basic outcry is rated at 30t so a couple of 55t motors would be just over the limit.

I run a sidewinder and two 45s on a 3s lipo. You can use the castle link and set your lipo cut offs and just about everything else. The FXR is great to but the sidewinder was in my budget at the time.

Those will work as a cheap alternative....however, they dont appear to be rebuildable.

For a good quality handwound motor, check out Team Brood Racing:

Thanks for the input but those are some expersive motors.. If I were going with that price range I may just go with the Holmes hobbies pro handwound

Not a problem. It has been my experience with motors that you really get what you pay for. I have tried cheap motors and they dont last me very long at all.

Integy 45s or 35s may be the best for a budget build. They are about 20 a pop.I run them in two of my rigs and have had no issues yet.
