Default Can Bind Port Be Used as Batt Port?

I'm seeing if I can hook up my external Castle BEC to the Bind port on my 3 channel Spektrum SR3520 RX to free up the Aux port to run a dig. Does the Bind port work like a Batt port on other receivers?

Or do I have to get a Y harness and have both the BEC plug and my dig servo plug both going into the Aux port?

The BEC plugs in the bind socket...but remember to disable the positive wire from the ESC.

Yes the positive wire has been disabled from the BEC. Just needed to know if the Bind port could supply power as well.

Also another question I have 2 extra standard JR metal gear servos...one has 85 oz @ 6V and the other has ~180 oz @ 6V. Both have same speed so just wondering is 85 oz enough for a mechanical dig servo or should I use the 180 oz?

I've been plugging Batteries and Personal Transponder in mine for years. No issues at all.

I'd think the 85oz would be plenty on some of the newer dig systems (Vanquish for AX-10, and Losi's).
