I've been looking for the same thing for a while now... i gotta say, it's probably worth it to pony up an extra $20 or so and get the 7950th for 400+ oz/in @ 6v, and the ability to go 7.4v for even more if you want.

I have both the 7955 and the 7950, I'll say if you can spring the extra few bucks it's worth it for the 7950, but the 7955 is awesome too.

CS-170 is what i use and its under $100, does the job. But the other guys make a good point of spending another $20 and getting the hitec 7950.

I ordered a HS-7980TH yesterday for $130 shipped (new) it's a freakin brute. Torque oz./in. @6.0V - 500, @7.4V - 611 It's a big servo for sure but I'm looking forward to making it work on a LCC. | |

If your dead set at $100, the Hitec 7955 is a great servo. I run it on both of my Losi's and have zero complaints about it. If you can come up with another $20 or so, then I would go with the Hitec 7950. You'll always want more, so get the strongest servo that you can afford. |

That is very true. You will always want more. I have some JR 8711's (and I love it, have never had any problems with any of the 3 I have), but I have been eyeballing the 600 oz-in. Brian |

7954SH more torque as a 7950 and enough for a 2.2'' Rig. The 7XXX or 79XX series are easy programmable Greetings - Sascha |
