Default Tekin fxr problem

I just got a used fxr and I was wondering if there would be any reason why it would short the battery? All of the wires are soldered to the correct polarity. Could the capacitor be bad?

I would start with that.Then if it still shorting,I'd want my money back

A bit noobish but I had a thin bit of solder touching between + and -. The posts are to close together for my soldering iron Maybe it's time to get a new one. Thanks for the help cd13.

PS: It works awesome now and it is really smooth
