Totally planning on stuffing that 550 in my 15lb+ 1:4 CJ. How about waterproofing a sensored brushless motor/esc combo? Nice work, looking forward to seeing some video. |

Will you be selling/making the sensor wires to go with your motors? If not could you reccomend any certain brand?

These should be good for 60k rpm on all models. The amp ratings I was just stating were for the 550 size.

I run a 700 wt continuous outrunner and its insane in the top truck. I can't see 1600wts with normal axles. But the 454 sensored sounds like the new ticket for 2.2 crawlers. Can't wait until they are out will love the reliability. |

Nothing new yet. I managed to smoke the sensors in one test motor, stupid mistake! I should have a test vid of the 550 size within the week. The low speed control on these is just insane. The issue is that I may not be able to get them manufactured with all of my design features in high volume, as some of my features don't jive with the lamination machine process. |

I've been wondering, whats the price tag gonna be on one of these. Also any plans of a hh brushless esc or at least mamba max combo?

I am working on a compatible ESC, but the mamba max will be a good one too. Actual prices will have to wait for a sale thread, I can't post that here. The USA version will be more expensive than the China version for sure, and both will be priced similar to other high pole count motors available. Looks like I may get both versions (usa and china type) of the 550 available at the same time. |

Don't you get like 1.5hp for every 750watts or so? So this thing will have like 3hp? That doesn't sound right to me but I just googled it. I mean ya 3hp and who knows what torque would destroy 1/10th parts. I think I goofed somewhere in my calculations.

750w is one horse, more like 745 watts to be exact.
