Now, are the new endpoints learned, in ALL model memories?
Or just model memory #3, and the Adjuster process has to be repeated in each and every profile?
The calibration is global, it effects all models.

Good evening friends

Bought last week my 10 XR, but I have a problem.
The car is used and included a 4PL. I've already set the command in my own way, I have done reset, now follow the Harley videos, etc, but the problem keeps

The thing is, when the car is on an inclined climb, adjust or increase his position with the help of the servo, the rear wheels go.. Ie, do not block, but do not force enough to hold the car. The rear engine is new (has 3 tests).
The previous owner tells me it is on the radio but do not know for sure where I say, says it does not get asked to hang at 100%...
Have also checked the drag-brake the sidewinder and both are 213% (or 203, do not remember now, but is the max).

Engines: team brood, creep 35T.
esc: 2x micro sidewinder
bec: caslte
command and receiver: 4pl

Sorry for my english.
Please help me, I have competition on Saturday and I'm so screwed

Thank you friends

Calibrate the throttle positions of BOTH ESC's at the same time.

Thanks Harley, but how can I do this?

I stopped competing a year and a bit ago and at that time wore radio with sticks.

Excuse so basic and stupid question, but do not even know how.

That is a ESC function, not a radio setting. Refer to whatever ESC instructions you have.

Thank you again.
Just did it with manual of sidewinder, but not seem that blocks 100%, still think about some of the same effect, but I will test tomorrow on the rocks.
(Something does not seem right)

I recently assembled an Axial XR10 from a kit:

- Tekin FXR
- Tekin 45T
- Futaba PKS-R
- Futaba R614FS

I setup dual-ESC mixing, following Harley's excellent video (thanks!).

When I finally turned everything on, forward on the radio would result in both motors going backwards and reverse would result in them going forward.

At first I thought I had reversed the wiring but I checked multiple times and was able to verify that the ESC motor outputs were reversed (+ was -, _ was +).

I checked the radio and nothing was reversed.

I suspected the ESCs were at fault until I attempted a calibration and discovered that the ESC didn't recognize the radio's FWD as a FWD. When prompted to calibrate FWD, I held the throttle at full but the ESC kept waiting. It only worked when I reversed channel 2 and 4.

I created a new "normal" model (single ESC) and had the same result. Then I switched out the radio/receiver for a Spektrum and FWD became FWD.

Finally, I used the 4PKSR/R614FS in my Wraith and that too goes backwards.

I have checked the REV screen multiple times to verify that all channels are set to normal.

Obviously I can reverse the channels and go on with my life, but it seems that something is wrong?

With futaba you need to reverse the throttle on the transmitter and then recalibrate the escs.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you please expand on what you said. I can reverse the channels and calibrate the ESCs but doesn't that mean I have to keep them reversed?

I want to find out why I have to reverse them in the first place.

Yes you have to leave them reversed on the radio. The throttle signal is opposite what you typically need for an ESC. Its probably correct for the throttle servo on a favorite nitro rig of the futaba drivers. The first thing I do when setting up a fresh model is reverse the ESC on the tx.

Is this need to reverse throttle channels unique to the 4PKSR?

I ask because in Harley's "How to set up Futaba 4PK for Axial XR10" you see him reversing CH3 but the TH channel is set to normal.

In "Futaba 4PKS-R Dual ESC Programming" he walks through the complete process starting with selecting a new model. He doesn't reverse any channels, but perhaps it was done off-screen.

I have the futaba 4pls which is an updated version of the 4pl. Yes it is normal to reverse the throttle channel on futaba radios. It is just the way it is. It doesnt affect how it functions other than swapping the channel. Yes spectrum is opposite of futaba.

Yes its normal if you're using Tekin or Castle. Some ESC's are opposite as well, so you won't reverse them there. There is no "standard" for the PWM values as far as "positive" or "negative" so some manufacturers go one way and some go the other.

I'm running a 4pl at the moment and have a question. I'm going to selling it to a friend on mine who needs more channels. I've been looking at the 4pls as it's replacement. Are these radios identical other than the 4pls having telemetry? Basically I just want to copy all my settings from the 4pl to the 4pls, are the receivers the same etc? Are the any issues with software etc?

I'm basically looking for easy transfer without any hiccups.

Thanks.

Will the 4pls work with the receiver that comes with the 4pl (R2104GF)?

I have 3 rigs running that receiver.

Hi guys,

I'm waiting for my Futuba 4PLS to arrive these days. Being new to crawling, I'm trying to understand the way DIG functionality work. I've decided to try the dual br mini esc from Holmes for my rig. Say I want front wheel drive with dig - what happens to the rear axle? Will it be blocked completely (by the motor) or do I need some mechanical stuff to get it completely blocked?
