Sounds like you didn't program the DT switch correctly or you are programming a different DT switch. There is nothing in the programming that would effect that.

Do I go:

Dial SW > Trim Dial > DT3 > Ch3 w/ 20 increment?

Yes. Do you have the 4WS program activated though? You can't have both if I recall correctly.

No problem man, glad it was an easy fix.

I really think Futaba should pay for my iPhone though

When / If I go to dual ESC's I will ship my PL out to you guys... Is futaba working on an online update so we don't have to ship out a radio we just got in the mail...

Thanks!

Dude...as a senior field tech/Assistant service manager........I feel Futaba should cover a number of your costs.
The cost to them is small vs. the "positive feedback" they gain from sites such as this.
Don't believe me....have them contact me!

The radio actually has to be disassembled to be updated. They wouldn't want to risk warranty issues by suggesting customers do it on their own.

Hey guys, just got my 4pl from rcmart ordered a week ago and it has a serial of b102 anyone know if this is updated? It came with the extra sheet of paper added in the instructions so I assume it is but not too sure.

Watch my video and if the dual ESC menu shows DT it's updated, if it shows switch it's not.
