Let me see if I can explain what I would like to accomplish.

Currently I have dt3 set for my winch,dt4 is rear steer in increments of 4 to get to full lock

I know I can set another dt or switch to control my rear steer in a lock to nuetral to lock fashion in conjunction with dt4 being incremental.

My dilema is....The way my mind works, winch and rear steer need to be on dt3 and dt4 repectively. It would be nice if I could somehow perform a "mix" for lack of a better term to describe what I am trying to accomplish, which is...asigning another swith,so that with a single push of said switch would turn dt4 into a full lock, to nuetra,l to lock, and then pushing the same "mix" switch return dt4 back to incremental steering.

Make sense ? ,is it possable ??

If that is possable I am sure i could do the same for dt3 controlling the winch in increments for speed control or just fwd,N,rewind for those times when less control is needed with the winch

Dang, I think I need a 7pl already

Thanks Harley. Thats my plan. Buy Life pack for my 4pks, and swap my 4pks nimh pack into wifeys 4pl. I just know that the futaba pack will be very high quality and would prefer it. But for now, I have found these Life packs. I hot linked them

Sounds like you didn't calibrate the ESC's. Check the owners manual on the ESC's if you don't know how.

I'm using a generic case I'd bought for my Spektrum DX3R and it fits in there fine. Picked it up on ebay. Here's one just like it:

I'm using the 4PK box, works great AND gives you extra room for your comp batteries..

Hope your batteries don't "POOF" and melt your TX!

That is my only issue with putting both in one spot.

That's not really all that big of a concern. Batteries usually start to poof after something has happened, like running too low or too hard. You would be aware of this before you put them back away.

I'll show pictures of my modified 4PK case.

Hey Harley,
My buddy finally ordered a 4PL from CKRC after really debating it and me convincing him that he should be getting a B012..." version of the controller.

As it turns out, he received a controller with "B010..." Why on earth would a supplier still have the original versions of this? Is this common to have older versions still in stock after being on the market for so long?

Thanks

CKRC must just not have sold theirs. There are still quite a few people who avoid them.

Do the bar graphs on the display show this same situation?

Did you calibrate the throttle calibration?
