Save your money unless you're racing.

Are all currently shipping 4PL updated to latest firmware?
Local shop told me that they can order from their distributor.

(i am from Canada)

Ooops, one more thing...
Is there any label on the box itself that will tell this info ?

You really haven't given me any info. Is the RX bound? What color is the LED? Do you have steering? Does the ESC have power? Did you turn the switch on the TX to the power on side (not display only)?

The ESC is seeing signal from the radio then. So the radio is fine. What's the ESC?

Did you calibrate the ESC first? Should always be the first thing you do with any ESC in any car.

Is it possible to make the 4pl show you how much mix you have engaged? Like on the 4pk when you mix there is a number that changes, is there a way to have something like that on the main screen because i dont like having to stop in a comp and pull the trigger while watching the graphs to see how much i have engaged, thanks Nick

No, that is one difference between the 4PL and 4PK. After awhile you probably won't need to look, you can do it 95% off feel.

You can upgrade to a 4PK LiFE pack. Don't go to a LiPO.
