| There are several different manufacturers you can get them from. The Futaba battery doesn't seem to be stateside yet for sone weird reason. I would say go to your favorite retailer and search "4PK Life".

I use this option from time to time also! Does anyone ever change the direction of one of their motors while driving? by having each axle spin opposite of eachother you are able to spin the truck around without hardly moving. Last edited by BFGcrawler418; 07-06-2011 at 11:50 AM. | |

Anyone have any ideas on how to attach some sort of strap to the 4PL? I am running 2 classes now and sometimes they are back to back. I figured out I could save alot of time and not having everyone waiting for me if I brought both cars up to the drivers stand at once. But its kind of hard to juggle a slash, a touring car, and a transmitter. I can do it, but its kinda sketchy :p Doesn't have to be a neck strap, maybe some sort of loop I can snap to my belt or something. |

Battery Update: My wife and I have been running the protec life pack in her 4pl since I posted up about it a month ago. The pack works great! It has not needed a charge yet since completing the initial recommended cycles. You can definitely get an entire weekend of fun in on one charge. |

Today I noticed a problem with my 4PL. This seems to happen on any model for any setup. When I turn on the radio, POSI setting under channel three is set to D100. I can turn it down to 0, which, I believe, is the default setting. It will stay at this setting, unless I turn off the radio. When I turn the radio back on, it is set back to D100. Here is a short video showing the issue: Pardon the blurry video, I didn't realize until afterward (when I saw 50 videos of the floor) that my kid had been playing with the camera and the lens was covered in greasy fingerprints. This error isn't really causing me any issues since I dont use channel three for any of my trucks, but I am wanting to fix the problem, none the less. Thanks! |

Just bought a 4pl because of the recommendations here and Harleys set up vids made it seem to easy and nice. It was all that easy and fast to set up. 2 MM micros, 3s lipo, CC bec, Brood 45t motors. used Harleys setup vids to set up the 2 esc, dig and proportional dig. Coming from a 3PMX the 4PL seems to have a huge dead spot in the throttle, i can pull it a quarter inch before it moves the motors. I set the throttle dead band on the ESC to .0500 almost as small as it will go and it made little noticeable difference. Am i missing a setting in the radio that i can tune the low end better? I have only an hour running the radio and new rig and like all but the throttle. Also how do I reset the radio back to factory settings? Thanks for any help durrty |
