Default BEC Wiring Diagram...

Here is how I wire my BEC's. I run Hitec steering servos @ 7.4v and I don't think running 7.4v through the reciever like some folks is good idea, am I am just paranoid.

Another thing, I will start to run two BEC's in my scalers, one BEC for winch servo at 6v(or so) and and another BEC for my monster Hitec 7955 @ 7.4.

For you new folks and a BEC just regulates the voltage of your battery down to a manageable voltage that a servo can handle. I run 11.1v 3s lipos and I program my BEC’s to 7.4v or 6v for the servos.

I run Castle Creations BEC.

Here is another way you can run a BEC, but it goes through your reciever.
