Anything with a 3 position 3rd channel.

For $100 the Spektrum DX3E is probably the best bet.

Cheapest would be the a Tq3 2.4 gig radio of ebay, can be had for $45 A dx3s is $99, and a 4 pl is $249, its a 4 channel with mixing, This would be the most capable radio for the price.

Most people run a spectrum dx3r, But that was before the futaba 4pl came out

Not a bad choice.....do you have more than 1 RC vehicle? If so, does the dx3e have multiple model settings in it?

The 4PL is nice since you can use a single transmitter for multiple vehicles, just bring up the correct profile for the vehicle....not messing with settings.

I use a 3PM-x, my son has a 4PL. We both run 2.2 rigs, he has a punk dig (shafty), I have a servo dig (Bully MOA).
