Yes I have run them. They are cheap but can not take the beating that a crawler stearing can produce. I went through 2 at one comp and ended up putting my hitec 645 back in to finish the comp. You will not save any money with these, look at a proven servo for a little more money and you will saving money. You will only have to buy one and it will last. I now run a 7995 at 7v and have had it for 2 years with no problems.

I have one, and would not use it on a comp rig because every once in awhile it will stop working then it comes back to life. ???. I'd use it on a scaler.

I just got one of these in the mail:
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=12451

Similar specs to the last post.

Looks really nice and runs smooth. Feels heavy. Don't know what I will put it in yet, guess I just had to have it because it was shiny

EDIT: sorry - off topic. Supposed to be about Bluebird servos.

I been wondering about that one... I just pulled the trigger on the savox servo mentioned above.(http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...tal-Gear-Servo 40 bucks is pretty good deal. I have ordered from hobbyking allot in the past with luck but by the time i figured in shipping and whatnot on the chinese servos it made sense to go with a name brand high quality servo for 39.99.

I am really curious to see how that all alloy servo works out. keep us posted. I won;t deny the fact that it looks awesome!! does it look as good in person as their stock photo.

I use the Blue Bird BMS-660 MG Hi-Torque with heat sink in all my scalers, and beat the hell out of them all. The only failure I've ever had, was a gear stripping, I ordered another gear set for $4 and when I got it it was a different pitch, but it was the complete set so it didn't matter, that servo works better then ever. I've even used them in a pinch in a 2.2 comp crawler, for a comp, with no issues at all. I know some hate them, but for the money, they beat the hell out of the Hi-Tec 645's I used to use. If you do buy one, be sure to get the BMS-660 MG "hi-torque" they also have a BMS-660 hi-speed, which is worthless in a scaler or crawler.

I have been tossing around idea of getting that servo for last 2 weeks then I decided to go with a Savox SC-0251. I may still order a bms 660 as a backup. i this hobby you can never have too many servos!! lol

Buddy of mine tried a bluebird in his scaler and it not only stopped working but locked everything up :( Once he replaced the servo, the entire truck worked again--go figure..
