Default LIPO setup question

So here is the question, I'm setting up my Hustler SE with a pair of super bullies.

I will be running a Mamba Max Pro and Tekin 21.5 Brushless front and rear and am getting ready to order my lipos. Then I got to wondering if I need two sets of lipos (one for each speed controller/motor) or if I can run both speed controllers/motors from one lipo and if so what should I use?

I was originally thinking of running two sets of lipos each a 3s separately to each speed controller but if I use just one set should I or could I go with a 5s and run a Y connector to power each speed controller.

I hope someone can understand what I'm trying to say here and appreciate your advice. Thanks.

you can either run one lipo per esc or use only one lipo and run a y connector to both for either the 3s or the 5s

Okay, thanks. What is the preferred method? It would seem that using a Y connector would make the most sense.

How are most people powering a dual esc/motor setup?

Just use one pack, and run a Y harness to the ESCs. Running one battery per ESC can cause current flows through the RX and screw up the ground reference.
