Bone stock

This may be in the wrong place but its 2am and this poped in my head..
I gotta stock ax10 RTC and was wondering what esc do they use. All it says is Axial on it. also is there any modding i can do to it? The last question which is why im here and not brand specific. If I use another motor say a 10t or a 90t or whatever would it matter with stock electrics. an what would be a good swap from a 55t for more punch and wheel speed? also im looking for a good on the axle batt pack thats not lipo with a decent run time I gotta 1600 now but the run time sucks any info helps. I wanna stay cheap or as stock as possible cause i just play not comps for now

They use stock axial esc's

I would recomemend a tekin esc motor combo
You will drop about 100 on one

the tekin fxr is a very reliable esc IMO
and the machine wound motor will serve you well, especially in the begining.

I would suggest a 35 or 45t either will do well

Now for an on the axle pack, hmm
I used to run 6 cell stick packs(I'll find a pic)
I ran it on the axle, but it wasnt easy and was heavy
mine was a 3300 and I could barely get one comp out of it (4 courses,507 min each)
Your run time will vary depending on the trucks weight, terrain, driving type.
I'm pretty throttle happy

Going lipo was the best decision I have made
cheaper,smaller,lighter easier to maintain,longer life

mkay I figured they just slapped there name on another esc. didnt know they used there own. I gotta 3300 stick pack also and your right its huge for the axle. So another motor on a stock esc wouldnt change anything as fars as performance. ANNDDD some how I did some re-wiring on it NOT changed any wires just unplugged and re pluged and the motor reversed "pull trigger reverse push for forward" no biggie just changed it on my remote. the funny thing is now its a double tapp reverse. first tap brake second tap reverse???? How do you change that back to normal if I dont like it after I try it on the rocks. Ive tired both ways on the pos. neg. wires and its the same both ways:shock:

throwing this back to the top. just tryin to find more info about reprograming my ESC...and will it handle a 3s lipo till I get a FXR? lets say..this set http://store.yahoo.com/yhst-62196343...p-111-30c.html and would it be good with the FXR at 35t motor combo from tenkin
