Default Disconeccting the motor

how the heck do i disconnect the motor and take it out?? I cant figure it out. There are two cables going into the ESC, do i unplug those?? I tried to unplug them but im afraid they will be broken, and they have like metal inside that see through rubber boot. HELP QUICK. I need to change my motor and ESC

Unsolder the wires at the motor.

If your changing the motor and the esc, why bother seperating them? But if you need to seperate them then as said above, you'll need to bust out your soldering iron and take the wires off the motor. I always but a deans connector inbetween the motor and esc so when the time come to maintain the motor I can just unplug it then remove it.

STOP!!!!

Before you snip, cut, pull, or yank on those wires give us a picture of what you have. We'll let you know what you need to do to seperate the motor from the ESC...

Never mind guys, i just pulled on two different wires, and they got disconnected. The motor is out of the car now, and to check that i didnt broke anything, after i unpluged the motor i plugged it back in to see if it still works which it did. Anyways New motor and ESC coming soon
