48 pitch pinion, metric/std
 

I'm building a super class rig using a Savage X that I had laying around in pieces. I've already JB Welded the diffs and locked the trans. I ran 2 bolts through the gear with the one way bearing in the trans to lock it with the other gear that is pinned to the shaft. I'd like to use the stock spur gear, but need to find a 48 pitch pinion gear that would fit say a 55T motor. I saw in another thread mentioning 48 pitch metric/std... Which would I need? Metric I assume..

The only thing I can seem to find is a 10 tooth pinion from RC4WD in 48 pitch.

Ideally I'd like to have something like this, the amount of teeth I mean. I know that brushless shaft isn't the same size.

Sweet, thanks dude. My brain was stuck on RC4WD for some reason lol.

Also you need standard. Berg and old school Tamiya use the metric, not sure about newer Tamiya but heard they switched.
