What is all of this stuff going in? That would help us out as far as knowing if you are getting a good setup or not...

It's all good except for the servo... That's overkill you can get away with less, especially if your going to run 1.9's.

I would do a 3s, but 2s will do also.

A Hitec 7955 should work great. I use one in my comp rig. The Goat 3s comes with a 6v/3amp switch mode BEC, so you will be sending 6v to your servo. Get 3s batteries for the wheel speed.

Lipo: http://www.maxamps.com/Lipo-2000-111-Pack.htm

There on sale, water proof, and come with a 3 year warranty. I have 2 of these that are on there 4th year of comps.

That motor is way to slow for a scaler even on 3s, the goat forces you to stick with novak crawler motors which frankly all suck (silver cans are junked when the sensor harness goes bad, ballisitic's are to slow and rough due to the 14mm rotor). A Mamba Max Pro or Tekin RS with any normal 17.5 motor of your choosing would be a much better setup.

I've got the Novak setup ( came with the BEC ) with the 18.5 motor and a 7950TH in my Warthog chassis. I use the Losi 3S 1350mah battery with the factory end. PLENTY punch 30C rated and super long run times. No complaints here. Here's the battery link

For scale duty I would go with a Holmes BR-XL waterproofed esc and the brushed motor of your choice. I just dont see the need for brushless in a scaler and if you are going to be hitting water much it is a very good setup.

Yea, you dont need that much servo on 1.9's and I would for sure go 3s. Check out cheap battery's lipos.
